At Shaggy to Chic, we treat each of our four-legged clients as if they were our own pets. It's our goal for your dog to love getting groomed as much as you love the convenience of having us come to your home! Our grooming van has all the modern equipment and amenities you'd find in an upscale doggy salon, but mobile! Owner, Meghan King, purchased the business in 2017 after receiving her grooming license and certifications from Cecil County College. Upon purchasing the business we made some improvements to our salon and we are excited to announce we'll be expanding our services with an additional grooming van later this year! We use all natural shampoos and skin care products from trusted brands like Tropiclean, Espree and Lillian Ruff. Not only are these products safer and more gentle for your pet, they're highly effective and smell great too. If you'd like to know more about the products we use, just ask. Meghan King
Owner & Groomer
Hi, I'm Meghan, Shaggy to Chic owner, and expert groomer! I have been grooming for over 4 years with a certificate in dog grooming from Cecil County College. I am also certified in dog CPR training and I continue my education every year at the Groom Expo in Hershey, PA. I believe It is important to have the right tools and education when grooming my fur clients, from the techniques we use to the products we purchase. I take pride in my work and I absolutely love what I do. I also love a challenge so working with difficult dogs is a specialty of mine.
I live in Quarryville, PA with my husband, son, grandson, and my fur kids, Mimi and Scooby. When I’m not grooming, I’m enjoying any outdoor exercise, especially hiking. Spending time with my family and friends (fur and human) is most important to me. I love all beings on this earth and I do everything with love, kindness, and compassion.
Stephanie Illa
Groomer
Stephanie is one of our talented groomers. She comes from two major chain pet grooming facilities with over 5 years of experience in the field. She is focusing on expanding her knowledge in dog grooming while mentoring under Meghan. In her free time, she likes to hike, exercise, watch movies, go to the beach, and spend time with her son, Adonis. She has a natural ability to communicate with her fur clients through her kind and loving nature. Stephanie is a great asset to Shaggy to Chic!
